Terms and Conditions for Returned Orders

These terms and conditions apply to orders returned to Amelia Jayne due to reasons attributable to the customer, including but not limited to incomplete or incorrect address details, failure to collect the parcel, or refusal to accept delivery.

1. Responsibility for Accurate Address Details

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete delivery information at the time of purchase.

  • Amelia Jayne is not liable for delays or returns caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details provided by the customer.

2. Notification and Delivery Attempts

  • For tracked deliveries, customers are encouraged to monitor the progress of their parcel using the tracking number provided.

  • If a delivery attempt is made and the customer fails to collect the parcel within the courier’s designated timeframe, the parcel will be returned to Amelia Jayne.

3. Returns and Refunds

  • Once a returned parcel is received by Amelia Jayne, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus the original postage fees.

  • Any additional fees incurred for the return of the parcel to Amelia Jayne (e.g., courier return charges) will also be deducted from the refund amount.

  • If the customer has paid with a third party payment provider such as PayPal any fee retained by PayPal will be deducted from your refund.

4. Reshipping the Order

  • If the customer wishes to receive the order after it has been returned to Amelia Jayne, a new order must be placed.

  • The customer will be responsible for paying any additional postage costs associated with reshipping.

5. Tracking Responsibility

  • Tracking information is provided for all orders to ensure customers can monitor the delivery progress.

  • Amelia Jayne cannot accept responsibility for uncollected parcels once tracking has been made available.

6. Contact Information

  • If you realise an error in your delivery details after placing an order, please contact Amelia Jayne immediately to update the address if the parcel has not yet been dispatched.
