The Artist

Hi, my name is Amelia (most commonly known as Milly) and my middle name is Jayne (yes with a y). Apparently named after the children’s book series ‘Naughty Amelia Jane’ written by Enid Blyton.

I paint mostly table scenes here in my studio in Wimbledon. Capturing & celebrating the precious moments we share with loved ones around the table. Whether it be gossiping with friends over espresso martinis, drinking fine wines with a romantic partner or tucking into a slice of your mothers signature strawberry cheesecake. I like to think, although the art might not be to everyone’s taste, pardon the pun, there’s something for everyone to relate to.

Painting food has been my focus for a few years now, mainly because I bloody love it, but also because it holds so much emotion. It brings people together and elicits feelings of nostalgia and joy.
